General
The highly reliable Jackson USA Select B7 Deluxe (Au Natural) is a seven-string guitar that goes a step further than its colleague, the B7. Instead of a bolt-on neck, this deluxe version has a neck-through-body construction. This means that the neck runs through the entire length of the body and, just like the heavy strings-through-body bridge on the USA Select models, ensures a noticeable increased sustain and a more direct sound. The natural-coloured top made of flamed maple makes this a striking, appealing instrument.
A seven-string with excellent sound
The quality of this guitar completely relies on its sound. Luckily, this B7 Deluxe also delivers a top performance when it comes to audio qualities. The alder body, the maple top and the ebony fretboard combine their powers to get a powerful and balanced sound that has a nice bite. The two DiMarzio D Activators pick up the sounds perfectly. These pickups are passive but have the tight and powerful character of active pickups with lots of headroom and a full sound.
