If you're looking for a rough guitar with that bit of extra bottom end, you might want to consider the Jackson USA Select B7MG Walnut Stain seven-string guitar. This solid body from the Soloist Series has an extra B string, below the low E string to give a fat, rough sound with just that bit of extra oomph. The alder body with maple top combines with an ebony fretboard to deliver a tight, clear sound. Two EMG humbuckers and are mounted at the bridge and neck position and be toggled by the 3-position pickup switch, master volume and master tone.
Jackson Guitars
The renowned American brand, Jackson Guitars, was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson, seduced by elegant design, a sharp headstock, shark fin position markers and a powerful sound which is designed for metal and hard rock.
