The neck is extremely strong thanks to the quartersawn wood, graphite reinforcements and scarf joint. The first-grade construction of the B8 Deluxe When we compare the Jackson USA Select B8 Deluxe with the regular B8, we can see one big difference. This guitar features a neck-through-body construction instead of a bolt-on neck. This increases sustain and makes the sound more direct. Both guitars have an alder body (with a deep, balanced resonance) and an ebony fretboard. The D Activator pickups take care of a powerful, tight sound that is rich in trebles and headroom.
