The most striking thing about the Jackson USA Select B8 Deluxe (Satin Black) is of course its number of strings (eight). However, things like construction quality, sound and comfort might be even more important and this professional instrument provides you with exactly that. For instance, this long baritone-model guitar is equipped with a high-quality, heavy strings-through-body bridge in order to get a stable tone that is rich in sustain. The neck is extremely strong thanks to the quartersawn wood, graphite reinforcements and scarf joint.
The first-grade construction of the B8 Deluxe
When we compare the Jackson USA Select B8 Deluxe with the regular B8, we can see one big difference. This guitar features a neck-through-body construction instead of a bolt-on neck. This increases sustain and makes the sound more direct. Both guitars have an alder body (with a deep, balanced resonance) and an ebony fretboard. The D Activator pickups take care of a powerful, tight sound that is rich in trebles and headroom.
