General

Schecter's Damien-6 FR basically gets you the same impressive features and specs as the 'standard' Damien-6, but comes armed with an exclusive Floyd Rose Hot Rod tremolo instead of a fixed hardtail bridge. As a result, this ST-style schredding machine fully caters to all dive-bomb enthusiasts out there, but at the same time, is also delicate and sensitive enough to handle more subtle melodies and leads. The body of the guitar is made of mahogany for a rich, resonant and warm foundation sound, and comes finished in matt black for a deluxe, dark edge, while the bat-shaped position markers of the rosewood fretboard are fitting embellishments.

Tone. Lots of Tone.

The two mounted Schecter Diamond Heretic humbuckers give the Damien-6 FR tight lows as well ample definition for flexible sonic use. The same can be said of the tone controls, which are made up by a 3-way switch, a volume pot, and a push-pull tone control that can be used to split the coils of the humbucker at the bridge. This gets you a range of funky and 'chewy' sounds that can be sent through any squeaky-clean or semi-overdriven amp channel at will. Meanwhile, the nice and slim C-profile neck provides comfortable playability, and the 14" fretboard radius is great for guitarists looking for a feel that sits right between vintage and modern.
