General

The Schecter Demon 8 Aged Black Satin is designed for guitarists who want to take their sound to an extra-low and heavy level. This complete 8-string electric guitar combines a basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck and a wenge fingerboard. The long 28-inch scale length provides extra tension and stability for the eight strings. The dark Aged Black Satin finish, the Gothic Cross inlays and the Black Chrome hardware give the Demon-8 a striking and aggressive character that suits modern metal styles perfectly.

Active pickups for a powerful metal sound

This Schecter Demon-8 is fitted with two Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S humbuckers. There’s an active humbucker at both the bridge and the neck, giving you a powerful and clear output. With the volume and tone controls and the three-way switch, you can easily switch between the available pickup sounds. This allows you to create a solid, tight foundation for heavy riffs whilst switching to a different tone for melodies and solos. The active electronics are powered by a 9-volt battery, for which there is a separate battery compartment.

Comfort, stability and a wide range

The maple Thin C neck is bolt-on and fitted with 24 X-Jumbo frets. The fingerboard has a 16-inch radius, offering a flat playing surface that suits modern playing techniques well. The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction ensures stable string routing. In addition, the Demon-8 comes standard with a set of Ernie Ball 8-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom strings. A matching SGR-1C case is available separately and is therefore not included.
