General

The Schecter Demon 8 Crimson Red Burst is a complete 8-string electric guitar for guitarists seeking an extra-wide range and a powerful, modern sound. The basswood body is combined with a bolt-on maple neck and a wenge fingerboard. Thanks to its long scale length of 28 inches (711 mm), this guitar is particularly well-suited to low tunings and the thicker strings of an 8-string set. The Crimson Red Burst finish gives the guitar a striking appearance, whilst the Gothic Cross inlays and Black Chrome hardware provide the distinctive dark look of the Schecter Demon series.

Powerful active Schecter pickups

For a robust output, the Demon-8 is fitted with two active Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S humbuckers. There is an active humbucker at both the neck and bridge positions, resulting in a powerful and direct tone that is perfectly suited to modern metal. The HH pickup configuration offers a versatile foundation for heavy riffs, melodic passages and solos. Thanks to the long scale length and the factory-fitted Ernie Ball 8-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom strings, the guitar is also well-suited to low tunings and delivers a tight response across the entire range.

Sturdy construction for eight strings

The bolt-on maple neck features a comfortable Thin C profile and is fitted with 24 X-Jumbo frets. With a nut width of 54 mm, the neck offers ample space for all eight strings. The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge features a string-through-body construction, which contributes to stable string routing. The Schecter tuners help you fine-tune the instrument’s pitch. The Black Chrome hardware provides a striking contrast to the Crimson Red Burst finish. A matching Schecter SCSGR-1C case is available separately and is not included.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.
