General

The Schecter Demon 8 Vintage White is a complete 8-string electric guitar for guitarists looking for an extra-wide range and a powerful, modern tone. The body is made from basswood and is combined with a bolt-on maple neck and a wenge fingerboard. Thanks to the long scale length of 28 inches (711 mm), this Demon-8 offers extra string tension and stability for low tunings. The Vintage White finish provides a striking contrast to the Black Chrome hardware and Gothic Cross inlays, giving this guitar a distinctive character.

Powerful active pickups

The Demon-8 is fitted with two Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S active humbuckers. There is an active humbucker at both the bridge and the neck, ensuring a powerful output and a direct response. This HH configuration is ideally suited to heavy music styles and provides a solid foundation for tight riffs, low tunings and melodic solos. The guitar comes fitted as standard with Ernie Ball 8-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom #2624 strings. This set consists of strings ranging in gauge from .009 to .080 and is tailored to the extended range of this 8-string guitar.

Built for stability and playing comfort

The bolt-on maple neck features a Thin C profile and is fitted with 24 X-Jumbo frets. With a nut width of 54 mm, the neck offers ample space for the eight strings. The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge features a string-through-body construction, whereby the strings are routed through the body. Combined with the Schecter tuners, this creates a stable foundation for the string routing. The Black Chrome hardware gives the guitar a dark, sleek look. A matching SCSGR-1C case is available separately and is not included.
