The closed oil-bath tuning machines contribute to stable tuning possible even with regular tremolo use. In addition, the 43-millimetre nut is also made of real bone. This Larry Carlton guitar also carries very subtle rectangular position blocks made of a luxurious-looking combination of white pearloid and abalone.
