Presenting a legend of an offset solid-body for a more affordable price, the Squier Affinity Series Jaguar brings all the comfort of a thin and lightweight poplar body complete with a bolt-on maple neck with a C-profile, and the light playability of an Indian laurel fretboard loaded with a twenty-two medium-jumbo frets.

The Squier Affinity Series Jaguar: Signature Style

This Squier Affinity Series Jag also boasts the same shorter 24 inch scale length as the Fender original, which lowers the string tension, giving your fret hand a looser feel since less force is needed to hold down notes and chords. Meanwhile, two Ceramic Single-Coil pickups mounted at the neck and bridge spit lush, balanced and sparkling tone. Dial in the specifics via the three-way switch and master volume and tone pots, throw in some tremolo-tricks via the classic floating bridge and tailpiece - all backed up by a stable set of closed oil-bed machine heads - and explore the sound that gave surf, shoegaze and even grunge its name.

Wrote the following about Squier Affinity Series Jaguar IL 3-Color Sunburst Electric Guitar

Na een video op YouTube (60 Cycle Hum-Ryan) te hebben bekeken besloot ik deze gitaar te kopen, ik had al 18 gitaren maar zo een nog niet, ik gebruik het meest de neck pick-up, die klinkt lekker vol en warm heel geschikt voor Rockabilly en Surf Sound. Ik twijfelde eerst een beetje zo goedkoop maar Squier bewijst keer op keer dat ze toch hele goede gitaren maken, en waarom dan die hele dure originele Fender kopen, naar mijn idee maakt Squier gebruik van NOS (New Old Stock) electronica, electronica die niet meer voor de originele Fenders wordt gebruikt, hierdoor heb je een gitaar die net zo goed is als een originele Fender van tien tot twintig jaar terug waar je toendertijd veel geld voor moest betalen, het resultaat een Squier net zo goed als een Fender van jaren geleden. Alles van de gitaar is heel goed, heb nog nergens problemen mee gehad, speelt gewoon lekker, tremelo werkt prima de tuners gaan lekker soepel en de snaren blijven goed gestemd, toon en volume knoppen doen wat ze moeten doen geen speling en geen akelige brommetjes of kraakjes. Verder weet ik eigenlijk niet wat ik er meer over moet vertellen, koop em zelf als je er een oogje op hebt, je zult niet terleurgesteld zijn, echt een hele goede gitaar, toch zeker voor die prijs.
