Iconic style powered-up by the thick sound of a pair of humbuckers: the Squier Affinity Stratocaster HH electric guitar is built for the beginner guitarist seeking a bit more grit. Two passive, ceramic-magnet-loaded humbuckers have been mounted onto the considerately thin and lightweight poplar body. These newly-voiced pickups don't just pack more power, but reduce unwanted signal hum to a minimum, and coupled with the modern two-point synchronised tremolo bridge, set you up with all the tools needed to master everything from extreme dive-bombs to subtle vibrato effects.
The Affinity Series Stratocaster HH: Comfort & Playability
Squier have given this solid, student-grade Strat the deluxe treatment. The back of the comfortable C-profile neck has been coated in a butter-smooth satin-gloss lacquer, and combines with a rounded, 9.5-inch fretboard radius to provide that tight, snug feel, as you navigate the 21 medium jumbo frets. The front of the headstock has been finished in high-gloss and stamped with an upgraded logo, and to ensure maximum tuning stability, has been equipped with a set of newly-improved sealed-gear, split-shaft machine heads.
