This Squier Affinity Stratocaster is characterised by a stunning Burgundy Mist finish. However, apart from great looks, the serious starting guitarist is of course also looking for an instrument that can keep up with his or her musical aspirations. Squier, daughter company of Fender, have managed to come incredibly close to the original Fender Strat with the Affinity Stratocaster. It features a durable body with the familiar three single-coil pickup configuration and a tremolo arm for subtle vibrato effects. This is the rosewood fretboard version, for a somewhat rounder sound.

The Squier brand

The Stratocaster and Telecaster electric guitars and Precision bass guitars are Fender's best known models and have been copied by many. Fender wanted to be able to provide their own reliable and attractive alternative and started a subsidiary in 1982: Squier. Squier guitars and bass guitars are built according to specifications by, and under supervision of, Fender.
