Squier tailors starting guitarists and students looking for an affordable Stratocaster. This black Squier Bullet Strat is modelled after Fender's most legendary guitar. It has the same classic looks, from its slender black body and white pickguard to the characteristic headstock. The Squier Bullet Strat has that typical sparkling Strat sound thanks to a trio of clear sounding coil pickups.
Squier Bullet Strat: traditional features
The Squier Bullet Strat's shape exactly matches that of its big brother. This guitar has a thinner body, making it lighter and more manageable for younger guitarists. The 42mm thin body is made of basswood and has a high-gloss black finish. The maple neck has a 21-fret laurel fretboard and is screwed to the body. The guitar has a vintage style tremolo that allows you to create attractive vibrato effects by pressing the added lever.
The Squier brand
Together with the Precision and Jazz bass guitars, the Stratocaster and Telecaster are Fender's most famous models. Many manufacturers have attempted to imitate them in different price ranges. In 1982, Fender started a subsidiary to provide their own alternative for starting/amateur guitarists: Squier. Standaard is de gitaar niet goed geïntoneerd en klinkt behoorlijk vals. Ook de actie (hoogte van de snaren) gaat alle kanten op.
De stemmechanieken houden tevens niet goed de stemming.
Als beginner dacht ik dat ik er niks van kon (nogsteeds waar), maar het bleek voor een groot deel aan de gitaar te liggen. Nu ik er iets meer van weet zou ik deze niet nog een keer kopen.
Mocht je deze gitaar kopen, laat deze dan controleren/afstellen door iemand die er verstand van heeft :)
Belast dan niet je gitaarleraar daarmee ;)

Ik ben een beginned gitaarspeler en heb natuurlijk eerst goed rondgekeken op marktplaats. Maar deze gitaar wordt op meerdere plaatsen aangeraden als je beginner bent. Voor dit geld kun je beter nieuw kopen dan een gebruikte, ik heb er zeker geen spijt van.
Hiermee ben ik de komende jaren onder de pannen, geluid is top en de standaard snaren zijn in orde.
