Forming the Goldilocks region between classic sixties style and deep-diving baritone sound, the Squier Baritone Custom Telecaster has been given the full Classic Vibe treatment and a more-than-affordable price tag. Besides the extended 27 inch scale length, the finish of this model throws everything back to a sixties Custom finish. The body has been dipped in a classic high-gloss lacquer and furnished with cream binding; the C-profile neck has been given a vintage tinted coat of satin-gloss; and the headstock has been adorned with old-school decals. Equipped with two Fender Designed single-coils and a tried-and-trusted set of controls, low-B or A tunings are amplified with warmth and framed by tight, defined trebles and all of it comes backed up by that unmistakable Tele-style bite. This handsome Baritone rendition will seamlessly slot into most genres - from Surf and New Wave, to Indie and modern Country.
