General
Squier serve up the Toronado: a fresh and full-blooded Fender-inspired electric guitar with an offset body boasting compelling curves and commanding tone. Poplar was chosen for the body of this Paranormal Series model, which has been armed with two passive Squier Atomic Humbuckers that come with individual tone and volume controls to enable you to unleash a mile-wide range of brilliant sounds.
The Paranormal Toronado: Phenomenal Playing Comfort
Unlike most models in the Fender family, the Toronado has a 24.75-inch scale length, meaning the frets are closer together compared to a Strat or Tele. As a result, the tension of the strings is lower, making note bending a whole lot easier. Optionally, you could also put thicker strings on the guitar, which will give you even fuller sound without having to pay for it in terms of playing comfort.
An Eye for Detail
Both the body and the back of the neck sport a high-gloss finish for an immediately deluxe look and feel, and the Squier Paranormal Toronado has a fixed hardtail, six-saddle bridge with a string-through-body design to guarantee strict tuning stability and nice, long sustain. For the finishing touches, Squier went with small yet significantly stylish details such as the stunning scratchplate and vintage-style machine heads.
