General

We all know Squier as the affordable Fender. This doesn't mean that it is a cheap clone, however. This guitar is a beautifully vintage-style Stratocaster with a mahogany body. The combination of mahogany and the alnico pickups provide that high-quality Stratocaster sound. This is a classic-model guitar at an affordable price.

The wood of the Squier Antique Burst MN

The body of this guitar is made of mahogany, providing a warm sound and its structure ensures extra emphasis on the basses. In order to add some fresh attack, Squier have fitted this guitar with a maple neck. The result is an instrument with a proper tonal balance and with the help of the pickup switch and volume knobs you can freely adjust the sound to your personal preference.

The electronics

The pickup configuration of this guitar consists of three alnico single coils to provide the characteristic Fender sound. The two tone knobs allow you to adjust the tone at will and the three-position pickup switch lets you select the different pickups. You decide which tone you want to play.

De gitaar speelt heel mooi vooral met mijn Fender nek alleen de kleur is niet hetzelfde als op het plaatje, de body kleur was de enige reden waarom ik deze gitaar had besteld. De kleur is veel roder.
