These Fender locking tuners are installed on every model in the Fender American Deluxe series. Made for Fender by the German company, Schaller, high-quality and durability is pretty much guaranteed. These locking tuners make changing strings dead-easy and remove the fuss of knots or winding. Just feed the string through the hole, tighten the wheel on the back and tuner then cut away the loose ends. This system virtually eliminates any winding around the tuning mechanism and brings the tuning stability of your guitar to a deluxe level. A perfect combination with tremolo guitar roller nuts.

Good price and service. One of the tuners fell apart in my hand - the spindle dropped out of the back. It is held in place by a tiny circlip so I reassembled and fitted to the guitar. Time will tell whether its a permanent fix.

Hele fijne tuners voor mijn partscaster-project!
Makkelijk te installeren ook (hoewel ik de gaatjes voor de "place-holder-nokjes", zo noem ik ze maar even ;-) wel even goed moest uitmeten en voorboren, maar dat heeft met de hals te maken en niet met de tuners).
De onderdelen passen goed op elkaar en de in te schroeven bus heeft voldoende draad om de tuner stevig aan te kunnen en durven draaien in de headstock.
Na een eerste proefmontage kwam ik erachter dat de tuners "staggered" zijn, dus van verschillende hoogte: drie lange posts voor de lage E-, A- en D-snaar en drie kortere voor de G-, B- en hoge E-snaar.
Dus tip: kijk vóór montage naar de lengte van de post!
Deze locking tuners zorgen voor stabiele stemming en zien er ook nog eens fraai uit met het mooie Fender-logo!
Zeer tevreden over deze aankoop!

Eigenlijk onontbeerlijk om een mooie stabiele klank te krijgen om je strat, zeker als je vaak je tremolo gebruikt. Bovendien wordt snaren wisselen een fluitje van een cent 😉
Ze zijn niet goedkoop Maar elke cent waard. Dit is een aankoop waar je achteraf heel blij mee gaat zijn en een serieuze opwaardering van je gitaar.
Ze plaatsen gaat heel gemakkelijk en je hoeft ook geen gaatjes bij te boren of dergelijke.
Waar wacht je nog op? 😉
