Blending a traditional build with progressive technology, the Lava Music ME 4 Spruce 41” Smart Guitar is a touch bigger than its 36 inch sibling and packs all of the same perks and modern looks. The tight design of this model features a familiar dreadnought body shape, framing a less familiar, long and thin soundhole that's been shifted from the middle of the spruce soundboard to the side of the upper bout. The okoume neck has been bound to the body via a thin heel, supporting smooth access to the highest frets and, since this model has also been set up with super-low action, holding down chords and notes feels near-effortless.

The L3 preamp that sits at the heart of the Lava Music ME 4 Spruce 41” Smart Guitar is powered by a stand-alone DSP and Lava's renowned Freeboost technology, which actively resonates the back of the guitar in response to the vibrating strings, transforming the body into a speaker and essentially serving as an amplifier. This means that you gain amplified sound, including atmospheric built-in effects without having to actually plug into an amplifier. And the library of built-in effects is big, giving you access to over fifty audio algorithms that can be combined to create custom sounds. Via the side-mounted touchscreen or by pairing your smartphone over Wi-Fi, you can even access various exclusive apps and do things like build and playback drum loops, use backing tracks to help you rehearse, and tune up - all with just one guitar.
