General

Like all Ovation guitars, the Celebrity Elite Deluxe Deep Contour CDX40 features a unique design. Here, that iconic Roundback body combines with newly-developed Elite 'quintad' bracing and multiple sound holes, including side ports for enhanced projection of the rich, room-filling sound, which is brought to life by the solid spruce soundboard. This model also features a newly-designed soundhole epaulet.

The Celebrity Elite Deluxe CDX40: Expressive Style

The Celebrity Elite Deluxe CDX40 has the same Deep Contour Lyrachord body as the much more expensive Pro Series models, treating players to increased playing comfort for a lower price. Equipped with an Ovation CP-100 slimline pickup, three-band EQ controls and a built-in tuner, this gig-ready guitar also boasts expressive on-stage sound, making it a great choice for singer-songwriters and session guitarists alike.
