General
With the CS24 Celebrity Standard, Ovation introduce a brilliantly affordable electro-acoustic model with a unique, signature Ovation, round-back design. Made of Lyachord (an in-house developed composite) the back of the body has been combined with a solid Sitka spruce soundboard, giving the amplified sound of the Ovation CS24 striking power while the acoustic sound remains balanced, sparkling and defined. Basically, whether you're into subtle finger-picking or rhythm-work, this Celebrity Collection offering has definitely got you covered.
The CS24 Celebrity Standard Mid Depth: Plug In On Stage
To guarantee satisfying playing comfort alongside excellent sound, Ovation have opted for a mahogany neck, a satin-gloss finish and a rounded 10 inch fretboard radius to support a snug feel when grabbing chords. The Ovation Slimline pickup and matching OP-4CT preamp system complete with a built-in tuner, meanwhile, can be hooked up directly to an acoustic amplifier or audio interface to gain faithfully amplified sound that can be tweaked to taste via the three-band EQ controls.
