General

Featuring a thermo-aged soundboard, the Takamine Thermal Top EF400SC-TT gives you full-flavoured, sparkling twelve-string sound along with the option to plug in. Essentially a shop-fresh guitar that sounds like a real vintage instrument, this skilfully-built model comes with a solid spruce thermal top, a solid Indian rosewood back and laminated Indian rosewood sides, completing an exquisite dreadnought body that's joined to a mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard for a maximally rich, deep and powerful core sound. Add on the cutaway and expect great playability too.

Built-In Preamp

So you can leave a lasting impression on stage, Takamine has thoughtfully outfitted the EF400SC-TT with a CT4B II preamp, which is designed to be easy to use and sets you up with 3-band graphic EQ tone controls, a volume control slider, and a built-in chromatic tuner.
