General

The Japanese master builders at Takamine have delivered another feat with the EF508KC. This is because the NEX Cutaway body is made entirely of figured Hawaiian koa. Koa is a special tonewood, as it is suitable for the top, sides and back. It combines the clarity of rosewood with the rich, warm sound of mahogany. Combined with the high-gloss finish, it is also pleasing to the eye. This electric-acoustic western guitar is equipped with the Takamine CT4B II preamp, so you can use it anywhere, from the studio to the biggest stages. Naturally, it comes complete with a luxury case.
