Fender proudly present the American Acoustasonic Stratocaster. Following the resounding success of the acoustic reworking of the Telecaster, this fresh hybrid offers an innovative instrument to all Strat lovers. The Tele Acoustasonic came loaded with forward-thinking tech, Fender-level build quality and an incredibly flexible sound and, since this Stratocaster comes with the now hallowed Fishman-collab-developed Acoustic Engine at its heart, this model is no different.

The American Acoustasonic Stratocaster: You Can Take It Anywhere

Besides the preamp, an Under-Saddle piëzo pickup has been installed to faithfully register the acoustic sound, while a magnetic Fender Noiseless N4 single-coil is mounted at the bridge, and the resonance within the body is captured by an 'Internal Body Sensor'. To gain access to the mind-boggling range of sounds this three-piece combo produces, it's worth getting to know the five-way switch. With seven acoustic and three electric guitar sounds on offer, as well as the pickup configurations available, experimentation is not invited but actually demanded.

Electric Playability

This Fender Acoustasonic Stratocaster evidently enjoys its satin-gloss finish and the highy playable electric-guitar-esque, Modern Deep C-profile neck it's been gifted with. Fender American Acoustasonic Stratocaster Black with gig bag

I have struggled a little with moving between electric and acoustic so a hybrid appealed as a means of getting back into a bit more acoustic playing. I shopped around for best prices, including checking prices on Ebay. I found the Bax Music pricing to be the best new price and, to be honest, not much more than buying a used one on Ebay and certainly less risky than a used version. The service from Bax has been great and this is the second time I’ve bought from them.
Since receiving the guitar, I’ve generally been pretty pleased with the quality, lightness and ease of playing. The cover is also of good quality making the hard case an unnecessary requirement. However, I think I may change the strings to a lighter set at some point. The only thing I’ve not been impressed by are the cheap plastic tone and volume controls. These really don’t match the value of the guitar and Fender should review this. I’m now looking forward to playing a few more acostic numbers.

Je cherchai une guitare polyvalente.

J'ai déjà une fender midi mais je n'était pas vraiment satisfait des sons modélisés acoustiques et très honnêtement je n'avais pas vraiment l'utilité de sons de piano, violons et autres...
J'ai aussi une Yamaha silent électroacoustique qui a un super manche et un son très chouette. mais le volume unplugged est très faible.

La fender acoustasonic stratocaster est une belle synthèse des qualités de ces deux guitares.
1. C'est une fender avec son manche très agréable à jouer
2. La demi-caisse permet de jouer unplugged avec un volume bluffant pour un si petit corps.
3. Les sons sont variés et de très bonne qualité que ce soit les sons acoustiques ou électriques
4. Elle est légère.

Bref, je suis satisfait de mon achat.

Un bémol peut-être: le prix. Pour info cette guitare est plus chère que la somme des prix de ma fender midi et de ma Yamaha silent.

J'ajoute, que la première guitare reçue de Bax avait manifestement un défaut de fabrication et que Bax m'a renvoyé un guitare neuve en remplacement. Merci au service client.
