The American Acoustasonic Telecaster has Fender's specially-developed SIRS technology on board. It's a stunning instrument that's essentially a hybrid of an electro-acoustic and an electric guitar. The Acoustic Engine electronics were developed in collaboration with legendary brand Fishman and allow you to quickly switch between acoustic piezo and electric guitar sounds with ease. Absolutely beautiful guitar and plays like an absolute dream! Was more than a little concerned that it may end up being a bit of a gimmick but this absolutely the perfect guitar for electric players wanting to add an acoustic element. Love the neck, action & setup straight out of the case was brilliant and the customer service from Bax second to none. Was really pleasantly surprised by how quickly the guitar arrived and how much care had clearly been taken to package it to arrive safely. I'd highly recommend the instrument and would definitely encourage others to order it through Bax music! Thanks!

I instantly liked the look of this guitar and also thought I'd like its features. When I actually saw it and played it I also loved it's feel and sound, For such a small, light guitar it sounds great acoustically and when plugged in its even better. The magnetic pickup sounds like a telecaster and the various acoustic plugged in sounds give a whole heap of variety. It's also a beautifully made instrument. Get one if you can!

De gitaar was al op stemming en dat verraste me. Is dat wel zo goed, om een gitaar gestemd op te sturen, vanwege de spaarspanning? Hoe dan ook. De looks van de gitaar zijn prachtig: prachtige honingblonde, mahonie achterkant en hals, smetteloze natural voorzijde, een heel dunne coating (de gitaar leek wel onbehandeld!), zeer goed 'zaagwerk': alle onderdelen vallen naadloos in elkaar.
Wat tegenviel: de actie van de gitaar kon nog wel wat lager, zeker voor een fingerpicker. Maar vooral het fretwerk verdient een dikke min: bijna alle frets steken wel wat uit, zodat je bijna je handen openhaalt bij snelle soli of snel akkoordenpakwerk. En dat bederft het speelplezier echt behoorlijk. Wel zodanig, dat ik erover dacht om de gitaar terug te sturen.
Maar toen: inpluggen! Eerst de gitaar opladen natuurlijk, met de bijgeleverde (Chinese, dus goedkope) microUSB-kabel.En dan gaat de gitaar los! Wat een diversiteit aan klanken en mogelijkheden. Hier werd ik heel vrolijk van! Ik denk dat ze toch mag blijven, al moet ik wel even langs mijn gitaar-tech om die fretten te fixen!
