General
Whether you want to play songs in your bedroom, serenade that special person on a balcony, or record songs in a studio, the Fender CD-140SCE Satin does it all. This dreadnought is based on one of Fender's most successful models and now has a subtle satin finish, with a neck that feels seriously smooth. The nut and saddles are GraphTech NuBone for excellent tuning stability and intonation. This is a Fender electro-acoustic steel-string guitar for a very competitive price!
CD-140SCE Satin: rich tone
The Fender CD-140SCE Satin has a dreadnought-shaped body that produces warm bass tones. For excellent resonance, Fender has chosen a solid spruce top, ensuring a sound so bright the CD140SCE sparkles like a sunbeam in a fountain. The full sound is completed by a back and sides that are made of mahogany. This model comes with Fender Duratone 80/20 Phosphor Bronze strings fitted as standard.
Fishman Presys preamp with tuner
Fender has fitted the CD-140SCE with the renowned Fishman Presys preamp. This compact and advanced Presys system has a volume control and a 3-band EQ for bass, middle and treble. It also has a body regulator included so that you can emphasize the mid range. Additionally, the preamp has an integrated tuner with a bright LED display so that you can easily tune your guitar. The Fishman preamp's clever design also means that you can change the battery easily when necessary.

The Fender CD-140S Natural and the CD-140SE in Natural and Black now also come in a matte satin finish, in addition to the existing high-gloss models. The satin finish really allows the beautiful wood grains to stand out and the sound produced is a little more open.
