The iconic shape of its headstock tells you almost the full story - this Sonoran SCE Thinline is a Fender guitar. Its sound, finish and high-quality built-in Fishman Isys III preamp offer the excellent quality you'd expect from Fender. It is a comfortable guitar to play thanks to its pleasant thinline-size body that features a spruce top.
Construction of the Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline
The spruce top of the Sonoran SCE is solid, instead of laminated, which greatly benefits the resonance and sound of this beautiful guitar. Its spruce top has a clear, sparkling sound that combines beautifully with the warm tones from the mahogany sides and back. The comfortable maple neck features a laurel fretboard with 20 frets. The cutaway in the body makes it easier to reach the highest frets.
The amplified Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline
Ever since it first came to be in 1981, the Fishman brand has been a guarantee for quality and innovation and has become a household name in the world of acoustic sound amplification. This Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline is equipped with a Fishman Isys III pickup system which consists of a piezo pickup and a preamp with active tone control. Via the three-band equalizer you can adjust the tone to your liking. Tuning your guitar is made much easier by the clear display of the built-in tuning device.
