Ibanez' AE205JR-OPN is an electro-acoustic mini-jumbo guitar with a solid Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body. With a scale length of 23.9 inches that gives the strings a slightly lower tension and a 15.75-inch fretboard radius on the mahogany neck, this instrument is extremely comfortable to play. If you're used to an electric guitar, you'll certainly appreciate how the strings feel on this compact jumbo from Ibanez' AE series. The cutaway makes it easier to reach the higher frets too which is perfect when you want to play solos or melodies.
AE205JR
This mini-jumbo model produces a full-bodied sound that is dynamic, bright and open thanks to the wood types used in its construction. The spruce top is reinforced with an X bracing and the mahogany neck adds warmth and sweetness to the overall tone. The T-bar pickup underneath the bone string nut faithfully captures the sound that passes through the Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp for a transparent, well-balanced sound when amplified. Specially-designed wooden inlay position markers and a tortoiseshell-style pickguard are two other features that add to this model's great look. It comes complete with a gig bag.

Ik heb deze ibanez zo,n maand geleden gekocht, na wikken en wegen wat betreft maat, handzaamheid, geluid en geluidsvolume. Nou, ik ben blij met de aankoop. Met de voor mij juiste snaren, thomastik John Pearse, klinkt de gitaar mooi helder ( spruce top), met genoeg volume (unplugged), de gitaar is handzaam kwa lengte en dankzij de toch wel brede body vol van toon.
Een aanrader voor iemand die niet al te groot is, zonder dat het een kindergitaar lijkt.
