General

The GPX1AE is a Grand Performance electro-acoustic steel-string guitar by Martin. Thanks to its body shape, it produces a sound that is a little more unique than a standard Dreadnought model and has a fast response. It's equipped with high-quality Fishman Sonitone electronics.

GPX1AE: sustainable wood types

The GPX1AE's sparkling clarity comes mainly from the Sitka spruce top. The sides and back are made of HPL while the neck is made of laminated birch and has an FSC-certified Richlite fretboard. As you'd expect from Martin, the sound and playability of this model are both top-notch. It's also good to know that the GPX1AE is made using sustainable wood types.
