Over 20 years ago, American country music star, Garth Brooks drew up a signature model for his favourite guitar maker, Takamine. The result was the GB7C, a model that that's still being made today and continues its own success. This electro-acoustic guitar immediately grabs your attention with its unique soundhole shaped like a dreadnought guitar and is nothing but a joy to listen to and play. The top is made of solid cedar and combines with a solid rosewood back and rosewood sides and neck for an impressive, rich sound wrapped up in warmth and brightness. Palathetic Pickup

We can't blame you for wanting to share the impressive sound of the GB7C with your audience and due to its CT4B II preamp with a much-celebrated Palathetic pickup, you won't have to worry about a thing. Like most other acoustic pickups, the Palathetic pickup sits under the bridge saddle, but has a unique design to be able to deliver unique sound. Each string comes with its own isolated piezo pickup that runs through the top and bridge to make direct contact with the saddle, while the housing of the pickup as a whole has been attached to the top and bridge for optimal contact and, of course, rich resonance and fully authentically amplified on-stage sound. Any tone-tweaking can be done using the fitted controls and, as a Signature Series guitar befits, the GB7C comes including a deluxe case.
