General

Takamine guitars are not only attractive to look at, they also offer superior sound. This Takamine P5J electro-acoustic has a jumbo body and is designed for advanced guitarists. Its direct response and loud, powerful sound are thanks to the solid spruce top and solid rosewood back with scalloped X-bracing construction. On stage, you can amplify the P5J by means of the built-in CT4-DX preamp system. The asymmetrical neck is slightly narrower at the bass end so it fits comfortably in your hand, resulting in an overall comfortable feel and great playability.
