General

The slim form of the Vintage VE8000PB is the result of a collaboration between Vintage Guitars and British guitarist and voracious guitar collector, Paul Brett. Brett is not only one of the world's leading 12-string guitarists, but a highly respected authority on the history of the guitar. As such, the VE8000PB is a sensitive ode to the classic instruments made during the '20s and '30s, for which Brett has cultivated a deep obsession for a number of years. This small, steel-string electro-acoustic guitar comes with an historically accurate Parlour body shape and a lightweight Vintage Zero-Gravity soft case.

The Vintage VE8000PB: Electro-Acoustic Solid-Top

Don't be fooled by the size, since the solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides of the resonance chamber packs a surprisingly full and big sound. The acoustic sound is sublime, and plugged in, the amplified sound is just as good. Fitted with a Fishman Matrix VT pickup system, the on-stage sound retains purity and balance and can be tweaked using the discrete volume and tone controls tucked just inside the sound hole. This sensitively finished instrument has been coated in satin-gloss for a buttery smooth feel and decorated with classic rope-style purfling and a matching sound-hole rosette.

Vintage

Vintage Guitars started out as a budget brand that ... somewhat justifiably garnered a number of negative reviews. However, that changed drastically when Trevor Wilkinson, known for his affordable yet high-quality guitar parts, attached his name to the Vintage brand. Not only did the Vintage hardware division receive a shot of quality, the wood selection and construction methods were also greatly improved. Since then, Vintage has made a name for itself by offering high-quality instruments alongside excellent value for money.

Vintage VE8000PB Paul Brett Signature Parlour

For the price this is unbearable. Solid spruce top and good looking guitar. It plays and sounds great acoustically if you like the parlour sound. Great for finger picking. Solid plugged in sound through the discreet Fishman pickup and a hard case!

Incredible value.
