General
Moving from an acoustic to a digital kit is guaranteed to go a lot smoother with the Alesis Strike Pro Kit. Alesis give you the best of both worlds with a combined construction of wooden shells and mesh drum heads. The heads are as easy to replace and adjust as those of an acoustic kit and more importantly, offer the same give, response and overall feel. This kit consists of a 14-inch snare drum, 8, 10 ,12 and 14-inch toms and a 14-inch bass drum.
Realistic Cymbal Pads
The drums aren't the only realistic thing about this kit - the cymbals also deliver an authentic sound, look and feel and the set-up is no way basic. The Strike Pro Kit includes a 12-inch hi-hat, 16-inch ride and three 14-inch crashes: five cymbal pads in all. For perfect stick definition and a natural response, the realistically-large cymbals feature a rubber coating that not only reduces volume but boasts a hammered-pattern giving it a more authentic look than most electronic kits.
Performance Module
The beating heart of this kit is the Alesis Performance Module. This smart little box holds more than 1000 drum and percussion samples, features 200 realistic pre-programmed drum kits and the Strike Software editor gives you the freedom to build your own custom kits and load them in via USB. The module boasts an on-board sampling option and has an SD card slot as well as a USB/MIDI connection. Finally, there's a 4.3-inch colour LED display so you can keep track of your current selections and settings.

Tegenvaller....
Geluid uit module is heel zacht, niet verder op te schroeven...
Trigger in kick zit veel te laag, daardoor bijna geel geluidsoverdracht.... niet aan te passen, omdat deze geplakt zit op vel.
Geluidsniveau extra crash en ride ook niet aan te passen, daardoor ook veel te zacht.... ook al draai ik alle knopjes en schuiven open.
Extra ride en Crash staan veel te ver naar achteren op vast statief..... onhandig te bespelen zo....
Erg jammer.... had gehoopt op een fijn bespeelbaar drumkits....
PLuspunt: Toms en snare voelen lekker aan en geven fijn geluid
Minpunt is ook het instellen van de hihat..... dit zou eigenlijk al voorgeprogrammeerd moeten zijn.... nu moet je alles eerst zelf downloaden en installeren..... erg jammer wanneer je zo een bedrag neertelt voor een kit....
extra pluspunt....Verzending via BAX is goed geregeld....ik hoop alleen dat het retour nemen van de set dan geen problemen gaat opleveren....

Ik heb wel een probleem.. het geluid dat uit mijn module komt is HEEL zacht. Eigenlijk niet eens te horen. Dit hoort NIET te gebeuren bij een drumstel. Al helemaal niet bij een drumstel die zich verkoopt als "Pro"
