General

The YES is a sophisticated, professional digital drum kit by MarkDrum, which is part of the well-respected Markbass brand. In developing this kit, MarkDrum aimed to provide you with an optimal playing feel, as close as possible to that of an acoustic kit. To achieve that, a lot of attention went into designing the hardware and programming the module. As far as its looks are concerned, it's a familiar sight, thanks to the typical yellow accents Markbass often uses.

Mark Drum YES

The YES offers a truly immersive experience, thanks to its top-notch sound quality and hardware. The module contains 24 drum kits using over 10.000 samples, with separate recordings for your left and right hand, for instance. The samples are spread over the various dynamic areas and trigger zones, ensuring the YES delivers a highly convincing performance. The DSP processor is one of the most sophisticated ones on the market, and it features an impressive dynamic range. Furthermore, with the Create Kit and Create FX functions, creating your own kit configurations and sounds is a breeze.

Hardware

The kit features a durable and familiar configuration with three toms and two cymbals. The snare and toms have mesh heads for optimal response to your every hit. The Smart Pad trigger system takes care of the trigger signals, and every pad has its own micro processor. In combination with the powerful DSP processor, this makes for remarkably vibrant drum sounds and a realistic playing experience. The aluminium rack system ensures optimal stability and is quick and easy to set up and tear down. All in all, the MarkDrum YES is a quality instrument of Italian make, and 100% ready for any studio or stage.
