General
The highly unique Acoustic Design Roland VAD306 drum kit is, in fact, entirely electronic. The biggest difference between this kit and the VAD503/506 is that you're getting a more compact setup driven by a TD-17 module. While the design has been slimmed-down, this kit still comes with a set of genuine wooden shells.
The Roland VAD306
The configuration of the Roland VAD306 looks fairly standard: two 10-inch hanging toms, a 12-inch floor tom, 12-inch snare, and an 18-inch kick. The toms are pretty shallow while the kit is supported by a set of double-braced and chrome-plated DSC-10 stands and an APC-30 clamp to mount the module. In terms of cymbals, you get a 12-inch VH-10 V-hi-hat, two 12-inch CY-12C crashes, and a 13-inch CY-13R ride.
The Roland TD-17
The brain of the VAD306 comes encased in the form of the Roland TD-17 module and packed with sounds lifted from the flagship Roland TD-50 module. Bluetooth functionality has been thoughtfully included for wireless streaming from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, your own samples can be loaded in and played, and the module itself can even be directly connected to computer.

Ik Heb hem gekocht voor in de woonkamer, maar zou hem zo meenemen het podium op.

- Ik heb zelf als hihat statief deze bestelt: Fazley FDK-100-HHS hihatstatief
- Als snarestatief: Gibraltar Hardware 5706
- Als drumkruk: Innox DB 21
- Voor stokken is deze een goede keuze: Vic Firth 5AN nylon tip
Het bovengenoemde zitten dus niet inbegrepen in het pakket. Kies ook drumstokken met een nylon tip. Drumstokken met een houten tip kunnen op den duur gaan splinteren en de drumvellen beschadigen.
Het drumstel is samen met de aparte onderdelen zeer goed verpakt verzonden en bezorgt met Transmission.
Kortom, een super professioneel drumstel die qua prijs kwaliteit zeker aan mijn verwachtingen voldoet.

Geweldige respons, goede feeling , geweldige klanken sounds, een aanrader voor wie nog wil leren, maar ook zeker voor gevorderde en profspelers.
Ik gebruik het nu thuis ivm Corona maar ben ervan overtuigd dat het via pa installatie op podia zijn mannetje kan staan.
Ben zeer tevreden, ook service bij Bax is super. Een tevreden klant🎶🥁
