The Yamaha FGDP-30 comes pre-loaded with a set of 39 presets that can be scrolled through and selected with ease, as well as a massive bank of 1212 samples that can be used to build your own custom drum kit from the ground up. Hook up this desktop-friendly hardware to a computer via USB and use it as a USB-MIDI controller for your own drum sounds and, so you can play through tracks and drum along, an AUX input has even been fitted. To fatten up the sound, the FGDP-30 can also be plugged into an active speaker, bypassing the built-in speaker or, for more private sessions, a headphone output has also been provided.
