Perhaps you have thought about having and setting up a Eurorack system. Maybe you already have some of it, quite possibly you're even a connoisseur and already have a whole wall of modules. The obvious thing is that you have mostly oscillators, and envelopes, filters, mixers, maybe also a sequencer, reverb spring and an LFO module. Those are the parts people know from regular synthesisers. Now what if you were to combine the essence of some of the aforementioned modules into a single module? The Cre8audio Function Junction such a module, developed by Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizer. It contains a lot of little helpers that you would otherwise see spread across several separate modules. For example, an ADSR envelope is always handy to have, let alone having it extra! The ADSR in the Function Junction has support for looping. It contains a function generator, a kind of curve if you like. It doesn't lack an LFO either, and then it has a mixer. In other words, the Function Junction is a very handy module to have 'on the side', in addition to all your other modules.
