A while ago, the Dreadbox Telepathy was released, a module with an incredible balance of size and capabilities. The Dreadbox Psychosis follows the same pattern; it offers a vast array of possibilities that aren’t immediately apparent from looking at the picture, but which are certainly there. At its core, it is a six-channel mixer, which you can also interpret as, for example, three stereo channels. You can spread these inputs across the stereo image and add effects to them, with the option to adjust the ‘rate’ of certain effects, such as a Leslie effect. You can also control the stereo width with a CV signal. So it’s a module that, on its own, handles a whole host of things for you that would otherwise have required you to buy various other modules. If you already own three Telepathy units, this is a great mixer for bringing them all together. But of course, it will work with all your Eurorack gear – after all, that’s the whole idea behind Eurorack.
