The Joranalogue Compare 2 is a specialised Eurorack module that's been designed to generate gate signals based on the range of a CV input signal. While not as common as your average oscillator, envelope, filter or noise generator, once you get the gist, the Compare 2 can definitely be put to practical use. In essence, it offers a way to create 'fake' pulse-width modulation. That, and a lot more, as you'll discover after a weekend of tinkering.
