If you're working with a Roland System-500 modular system, you'll need an amp to amplify your sound. To that end, Roland has issued the System-500 530 VCA, a 16HP Eurorack module with two VCAs. Each amplifier has three inputs (effectively turning it into a 3-channel mixer) and a gain option that offers a choice between linear and exponential response, as well as OUT and SUM connectors. To make your loudness more dynamic, you could connect an LFO or envelope module to the MOD IN connectors, for instance. Don't be surprised that you get two VCAs for the price of one; the ENV/LFO, VCO and VCF modules from the System-500 series also have a dual setup.
