Xaoc Devices Drezno II eurorack module (Leibniz)

The Xaoc Devices Drezno II is a Eurorack module that converts analogue signals to 8-bit digital, and vice versa. Normally, fans of analogue signals will have little use for this phenomenon, but logistically we can do something with the 'bits' it produces; the various on/off signals. And therein lies the power of the Drezno II.

What is Leibniz?

Anyone who is just entering the world of Eurorack, but has already fiddled with a synth here and there, will quickly understand the basics of this modular synthesis. And oscilaltor with a cable towards a filter also speaks for itself. Xaoc Devices' Leibniz system, however, needs a bit more time, and will certainly not be beginner-proof. It is about binary logic, and in everyday life you have little or nothing to do with that, which is why it feels a bit unclear to Eurorack newcomers. The various Leibniz systems complement each other nicely, sometimes in terms of sound, but - probably - much more often in terms of logistical choices.
