General
This plug-in card allows your computer to work with the superfast Thunderbolt connection. The connection is required if you wish to work with the Symphony Control Software or Apogee's hardware remote. The Symphony I/O mk II interface possesses the ability to plug in this card or via the Option Card module or both. You get access to two Thunderbolt ports with this card. So you can also use it to connect a second Symphony I/O mk II or, for example, to connect a Thunderbold hard disk to your Mac computer.
