General

The Alva Nanoface is a practical 12-channel USB audio interface that certainly lives up to its name. In a super-compact and feather-light housing, it offers all the connectors you need, including four analogue inputs and outputs, a Hi-Z instrument input and a digital optical S/PDIF connector. Two of the four analogue inputs are even equipped with microphone preamplifiers with their own phantom power supply.

Wrote the following about Alva Nanoface USB audio interface

Ik was opzoek naar een kleine maar kwalitatief goede geluidskaart te gebruiken met Cubase 8 op een Mac laptop. De duurdere variant op deze kaart is RME: Babyface. Als gok kocht ik de Alva Nanoface USB audio interface er waren enkele goede ervaringen las ik terug op het internet plus de prijs sprak me meer aan. Nu heb ik de kaart getest (opgenomen 24 bits 4800 khz, stem en acc. gt) en wat mij meteen opviel is dat het geluid erg goed (en mooi) is en ruisvrij. Microfoon direct op de kaart aangeslaten met Fantoom van de kaart. Werkt perfect en stabiel op een macbook met yosemite en cubase 8 pro.
