Ik heb hem aangeschaft omdat mijn oude Propellerhead geluidsinterface ondertussen echt gaar was en niet goed werkte met de nieuwste macOS's. Viel voor de M-Audio vanwege de prijs/functionaliteit verhouding. Ik wil voornamelijk gebalanceerde outputs naar mijn actieve speakers en een goede phantom powered microfoon input.

Hij is stevig van bouw en kan een flinke stoot hebben. Iets groter dan verwacht. Vergeet niet dat er een bescherm folie op het frontje zit wat je eraf kan halen. Knoppen zijn stevig maar soepel in gebruik. De koptelefoon voorversterker kan wel erg luid. Kan misschien eens handig zijn als je iets heel zachts wil opnemen (of om je oren stuk te maken!).

Werkt direct out of the box op een macbook. Ook heel handig dat zowel een usb-c naar usb (normaal) als een usb-c naar usb-c kabel zijn bijgevoegd. Wel iets aan de korte kant beiden.

Ik heb de gitaar input en de meegeleverde software niet getest. Met Bitwig Studio en Reason werkt het in ieder geval goed. Heel tevreden want doet wat er wordt geadverteerd!

Erg fijn om een xlr +6.3mm aansluitingen te hebben in 2 channels. Ook een heel mooi design. De grote volume knop is wat ik het meeste gebruik, maar voor "gewoon" een knop, kan ik me geen smoother design bedenken. Door de (ik denk) rubbere textuur aan de zijkant van de knop is het ook makkelijk om snel en met maar een vinger de knop te draaien, maar toch is die stabiel genoeg dat hij niet beweegt als je m alleen maar aanraakt. Heb zelf ook wat last van een ruis in mijn koptelefoon als ik een spel opstart bijvoorbeeld. maar dat is simpel gefixed met een Ground Loop Isolator.

All in all, zeer blij met dit product. gerbuik hem al 2 jaar en heb weinig slechts te zeggen over dit product!
