The Studio 68 by PreSonus is a compact, yet powerful all-in-one studio solution. It was designed for serious, demanding users who want the best possible audio, which is why it features four XMAX Class-A preamps that offer lots of headroom so your recordings have depth and room to breathe. The outstanding AD/DA converters ensure your audio is as pure as possible, and crystal clean. The Studio 68 is a great addition to any compact (home)studio.

The Studio 68 ins and outs

A handy feature of the Studio 68 is the Cue Mix A/B function that enables you to toggle between two mixes while monitoring through a set of headphones, making it ideal for DJs as well as recording musicians. The attractive LED meters provide a clear overview of the recording levels, and show the inputs as well as the outputs. On the front, you'll find two combo XLR/jack inputs for your guitar or microphone, and on the rear, there are two sets of monitor outputs as well as an S/PDIF/MIDI I/O port for stereo S/PDIF in and MIDI in and out for a keyboard, sound module, or console.

The complete package

The Studio 68 comes complete with Studio One Artist, also by PreSonus. This is intuitive DAW software that every self-respecting engineer or musician should have. Thanks to the Studio 68's compact size, it's ideal for mobile recording and producing on location.

Wrote the following about Presonus Studio 68

Heb mijn twee keer zo dure interface vervangen door deze. Klinkt niet minder en is een stuk eenvoudiger in gebruik. Als je zoals ik voldoende hebt aan de wat beperktere mogelijkheden van deze interface is de overkill van een duurdere onnodig. Integratie met mijn Presonus Studio One Professional is perfect. Koptelefoon output is zeer krachtig, handig voor mijn nogal ongevoelige AKG K240. Is in de nieuwe zwarte USB-C uitvoering al een prima aanbieding, maar in de zilveren (uitloop?)uitvoering ronduit een koopje.

Wrote the following about Presonus Studio 68

De Studio 68 van Presonus heb ik onlangs bij Bax-shop besteld omdat ik het idee had dat mijn sound beter kon. Daarvoor gebruikte ik een Mara audio interface, die ook voldeed, maar dit is net weer een stapje hoger. De interface zie er mooi en overzichtelijk uit. Alles is eenvoudig te bedienen. Mijn geluid is een stuk verbeterd; helder, krachtig en gedefinieerd! Het installeren is een fluitje van een cent, je moet alleen even een account aanmaken bij Presonus.
Leuk dat je er ook een DAW software pakket van Studio One Artist bijkrijgt. Alleen werkt dit pakket niet standaard met andere VST software. Je hebt dan het professional pakket nodig, of je moet tegen betaling een upgrade kopen.
Samengevat; zoek je een goed geluid, voor een redelijke prijs en spreekt het je aan dat je een mooi DAW programma erbij krijgt, dan is dit een uitstekende keuze!
