Finally, that's changed with the introduction of the Apollo Twin USB audio interface, which now works with Windows 7 and 8! Windows-users can now reap the benefits of everything Apollo has to offer. This device's signal quality, for starters, at 24 bits and 192 kHz, is in a word: sublime. The Apollo Twin handles the processing instead of your PC, so you can fully focus on the creative side of the process.

Capabilities of the Apollo Twin

This stylish desktop unit functions ergonomically. There are two mic/line preamps and a Hi-Z input for instruments. You can also hook up your headphones to the Apollo Twin, and use the optical connectors if you need another eight digital inputs. The operating panel is minimal, but offers everything you need, while the unit itself gives an overall serene impression.

Software

The UAD plugin bundle Realtime Analog Classics is included in delivery. This bundle contains Legacy editions of the LA-2A Classic Audio Leveler, 1176LM Limiting Amplifier and Pultec EQP-1A Program Equalizer, as well as Softube Amp Room Essentials. These plugins can be run on any DAW via AU, VST, RTAS and AAX64. In other words: you'll be able to record your audio sources in high quality without latency, while using great-sounding UAD plugins.
