The Universal Audio Apollo Twin X DUO Gen 2 interface is without doubt one of the most innovative desktop models you can get your hands on. Equipped with improved and advanced converters, this interface boasts incredibly low noise and distortion levels, resulting in reliable and flawless mix translation, no matter where you're working. Thanks to Unison™ preamp technology, users are also able to record in real-time while coating everything in the sound and warmth of legendary analogue equipment.
Apollo Room Correction with Sonarworks SoundID
This interface also introduces Apollo Room Correction, where your monitoring environment can be optimised using Sonarworks SoundID profiles. This means that you can not only accurately tune up your monitor speaker system but your headphones to ensure the best possible audio image, resulting in even better mixes. An integrated Bass Management function also supports full-range monitoring setups that include a subwoofer.
Set and Forget
Via an Auto Gain function and advanced monitoring options, including DSP pairing and support for immersive audio, the Apollo Twin X DUO Gen 2 makes the recording process near-effortless. This unit also seamlessly integrates with Universal Audio's downloadable LUNA DAW, supporting real-time workflows and upping the flexibility for modern fixed or mobile studios. It's also worth noting that, at the moment of writing, LUNA is the most analogue-sounding DAW in existence.
