The 16 x 22 Thunderbolt configuration has been combined with the formidable power of a set of eight Unison™ microphone preamps and elite-class Apollo X Gen 2 audio conversion to guarantee the most authentic analogue sound going. Meanwhile, the on-board HEXA Core DSP processing ensures seamless, uninterrupted operation when working with the considerable stack of over 200 UAD plugins that come included. The list is packed with some of the industry's biggest names, from Neve to SSL and Manley. Expect pure, crystalline sound whether you're working on standard audio projects, all the way up to 7.1 surround sound, and expect full support for the whole process, from multi-channel recording and mixing to mastering.

The Universal Audio Apollo X8P Gen 2 has simply been designed to achieve the highest possible standards. The integrated Unison™ technology is able to coat everything in the sound of classic analogue preamps and channels strips in real-time, putting the rich textures and analogue sound of classic emulated Neve, API and Avalon hardware at your disposal. The UAD Console partner app also supplies a tool-box of advanced functions, including Auto-Gain, low-latency cue setups and immersive audio control, handing you total authority over the session, no matter how complex it gets.

Future-Proof Expansion Options

As your studio grows, so can the interface, since the Apollo X8P can be expanded by coupling multiple Thunderbolt Apollo interfaces, adding up to 128 premium channels and expanding the DSP power. Extensive D/A monitoring also supports flawless playback backed up by a world-beating dynamic range, completing an astonishing powerhouse of a central hub that's more than equipped for complex recording studios and project studios.
