Prima harde schijf. Hij ligt bij mij al een paar jaar stiekem back-ups te maken. Je hoort hem niet, hij is snel, en je merkt niks van het back-up proces (via Time Machine op Mac). Naarmate mijn andere externe hdd vol kwam te zitten ging ik op zoek naar een nieuwe. Ik had al een goede ervaring met het groene broertje hier van, namelijk de 2TB Transcend StoreJet 25M3 en met de service van Bax-Shop. Ook had ik nog een cadeaubon liggen die ik goed kon besteden bij een nieuwe aankoop. Zodoende kwam ik weer uit op Bax-Shop.

Aangezien ik door al mijn videowerk steeds meer harde schijven thuis heb liggen leek het me makkelijk deze keer een HDD met een andere kleur te nemen. Vandaar de keus voor de paarse versie. Dit maakt de verschillende harde schijven wat makkelijker te onderscheiden. Daarnaast waren mijn eisen dat het gebruik maakt van de USB 3.0 verbinding vanwege de snelheid en dat het een stevige behuizing heeft omdat ik geen risico wil lopen op een beschadigde schijf.

Met bovenstaande beweegredenen heb ik deze harde schijf 's avonds besteld. De volgende dag had ik hem al binnen. Heerlijk snel hoe dat kan gaan. Met de cadeaubon koste hij ook bijna nog maar de helft en dat is geen geld voor zo'n goed product.
