This B205D is an active PA speaker that is small and light enough to be placed on a microphone stand. Despite its size, the B205D produces a high-quality sound and is equipped with handy features. Thanks to the revolutionary D-class amplifier technology and internal switch mode power supplies, the B205D sounds great and weighs very little. This D-class amplifier produces 150 watts of power and has a 5.25-inch neodymium driver.

Eurolive B205D: Great performance

Thanks to the revolutionary class-D amp technology and internal SMPS these active speakers sound phenomenal. They’ll pump out 150 watts but that’s not all you’re limited to because of the handy THRU socket that allows you to link up multiple active speaker sets simultaneously. A built-in mixer provides 3 input channels, including a switchable instrument-ready input (no DI required), and also features a dedicated 3-band EQ (bass/mid/treble) for simple, yet effective tonal control. Instead of operating relatively continuously, like AB circuits, D-class amplifiers switch on and off thousands of times every second and only produce power when it is needed for reduced capacity loss. All you need for a high-quality sound set-up is a B205D active speaker system and a microphone.

Lightweight

Apart from its superb performance, the Eurolive B205D is characterised by its lightweight design. The use of an internal switch mode power supply has reduced the B205D’s weight to a mere 3.2 kg. This means that instead of moving around all of your old passive monitors separately, you can now bring along all that you need in one go without having to break a sweet! This speaker is small enough to be mounted on top of a microphone stand so Behringer has included a special microphone integration kit. You can, of course, also place the speaker on a table, piano or electronic keyboard.
