General
The JRX212 is a portable 12-inch passive floor monitor that can have numerous applications. Its two-way speaker system is a great monitoring system in live setups but can also be used as a full-range speaker in smaller venues. The JRX212 is equipped with a 12-inch woofer (M112-8) and a 1-inch polymer membrane compression driver (2414H-C), which are the main reason for the JRX212 reliable nature as well as its balanced, detailed sound.
The JRX212's Proper Output
The sum of its components makes the JBL JRX212 such a great speaker. Its LF driver features a 64mm edge wound ribbon voice coil that ensures full bass sounds and great power capacity. The 25mm HF is nothing short of impressive as it brings forth a dynamic mid-range and incredible high frequencies. Together, these drivers create a balanced sonic image.
Rugged Construction
The rugged housing of this speaker is made of 19mm thick MDF panels that are joined together in a way that ensures extreme strength as well as minimum resonance. Because the handles are made completely out of steel, they hardly vibrate as well. Thanks to the built-in pole socket lets you tilt the JRX and also makes it an excellent top cabinet for parties and mobile DJ setups, for instance. Thanks to its rugged construction, the JRX is a great full-range monitor speaker for mobile setups.
