General

The JRX215 is a two-way 15-inch full-range speaker modelled after JBL's JRX 200 series - a line of passive speakers based on the popular JRX 100 series, with an amazing price to quality ratio. One of the most notable differences between the JRX115 and the JRX215 is the latter's tweeter, with improved reliability, ensuring a better performance at the higher frequencies. This speaker has 250 Watts RMS power (1,000 peak) and can handle a sound pressure level of up to 129 dB, making the JRX 215 perfect for (small) bands and mobile DJs.

JRX215: Proper Sound

Despite what the price tag might suggest, the components of the JBL JRX215 are all of the highest quality. This speaker is fitted with a 25mm diameter HF driver that warrants a detailed representation of the mid and high frequencies. The 15-inch LF driver features a 2.5-inch, edge-wound ribbon voice coil for a warm and full bass that goes up to no less than 41 Hz.

Resonance

The JRX215's housing is made with 19mm thick MDF panels, both joined and glued to minimise resonance. As its handles are made completely out of steel, they are virtually unsusceptible to resonance as well. Thanks to its 36mm pole socket, the JRX215 can be placed onto most speaker stands.

I bought two JBL JRX215 15' loudspeakers as they was delivered in London, UK from Netherland within 3 working days! Just incredible sound is comming from those two big bad brothers!
